Charles William Turner, 67 of Kenbridge, VA died September 22, 2015. He was born November 5, 1947, son of the late David Oliver Turner and Edna Yow Turner. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Thompson Turner, daughter, Julie Turner Newsome (Keefe); granddaughter, Casey Grey Newsome; brothers, David Turner, Jr. (Edith), Frank Turner (Ruthie) and Paul Turner (Arjy); brothers-in-law- Edward Thompson (Doris), Allen Thompson (Linda), Scott Thompson (Lucretia).

Charles served his country in the United States Air Force, was a member of South Hill Lions Club and a lifelong member of Williams United Methodist Church, 4670 Longview Dr., Kenbridge where funeral services were held, Friday September 25, 2015 at 11AM with interment in the church cemetery.
