Mary Ann Whitlow’s fourth-grade class at Victoria Elementary School recently won a National “Read To Succeed” contest using Achieve 3000. Students were rewarded with a gift card to use for a celebration of the students’ choice. The class voted to have a pizza party to recognize their reading accomplishment. It has been proven that the more Achieve 3000 lessons students complete, the greater their reading gains. Whitlow’s fourth grade students built reading gains over the contest period.
