Southside Emergency Medical Services Council establishes scholarship

The Southside Emergency Medical Services Council recently established a scholarship fund for students enrolled in the Southside Virginia Community College Emergency Medical Services program. Recipients must be residents of Brunswick, Halifax, Lunenburg or Mecklenburg counties and have been accepted into or enrolled in the SVCC EMS program. The Southside Emergency Medical Services Council is tasked with the objective to sponsor EMS education and training programs designed to improve the knowledge and skills of all health providers who are involved in emergency medical services.
