Springfield Baptist Church will hold its homecoming service at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The sermon will be delivered by the Rev. Dr. Theodore Brown. Revival service will be held the week following homecoming on Aug. 24-26. Prayer and praise will be held 7:30 nightly, with worship beginning at 8 p.m. There will be a different minister each night as follows: Wednesday night, the Rev. Elmus Morgan and Friendship Baptist Church of Kenbridge; Thursday night, the Rev. Samuel Barnes and St. James Baptist Church of Goochland; and Friday night, the Rev. Dr. James Green and Pleasant Oak Baptist Church. The community is welcome to attend.
