Helen Glasscock Holder, 85, of Keysville, Va., widow of John Ray Holder, Jr., died Aug. 13, 2016.

Helen was the daughter of the late Willie Clell Glasscock and Aval Taylor Glasscock and sister of the late Marion G. Smith.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Ray Holder (Teresa) of Keysville; daughters, Carolyn H. Thomas (Charles) of Victoria and Gayle H. Barnaby, of Kenbridge; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; her brother Billy Glasscock (Geraldine) of Keysville; sisters; Jean Hamlett of Victoria and Dorothy Driskill, of Meherrin.

Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Tussekiah Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to Lunenburg Health Services or to the Victoria Fire and Rescue.
