Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church, in Blackstone, will celebrate the Rev. Dr. Irene B. Allen’s seventh anniversary on Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Samuel Anderson, of Roanoke, will deliver the message and the Blackstone Community Chorus will render the music. The public is invited to attend. Dinner will be served immediately following the service.
