The Central High School varsity football team has not had much success against Buckingham County High School, its longtime James River District rival, but the Chargers were the dominant team this year. Central used impressive defensive and offensive performances to win 41-12 on Friday in Lunenburg County, avenging a 70-27 loss in Buckingham County in 2015.
