COMMUNITY MEAL, 5-7 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of Saint Paul and Saint Andrew, 512 South Broad St., Kenbridge. We will be having an Oktoberfest Celebration with sausage, sauerkraut, potatoes, german chocolate cake and lots of root beer. Take outs will be available after 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by Lunenburg County Ministries.

SENIOR CITIZENS ANNUAL BANQUET, 5 p.m. at the People’s Community Center, Victoria. Speaker for the event will be Errol R. Bragg of Seabrook, Md., son of the late Mrs. Francis Bragg. PASTOR’S FIRST ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m., at St. Louis Baptist Church for The Rev. Henry L. Fleshman, Jr. The Rev. Charles Woolfolk, pastor of White Oak Grove Baptist Church, Phenix, will be the guest minister for the hour along with the male chorus. Everyone welcome.
