FALL REVIVAL, at Gill Hill Baptist Church, 1427 County Line Road, Keysville. Prayer service, 7:30 p.m.; worship service at 8 p.m. The speaker will be the Rev. Roger Allen from Raleigh, N.C. Everyone is welcome.

NOVEMBER 5

SENIOR CITIZENS ANNUAL BANQUET, 5 p.m. at the People’s Community Center, Victoria. Speaker for the event will be Errol R. Bragg of Seabrook, Md., son of the late Mrs. Francis Bragg. HARVEST FESTIVAL, 5:30 p.m. in the Kenbridge Christian Church in the church fellowship hall. Pork barbecue, sheep stew, Brunswick stew, and hot dog plates with drink and dessert will be served. An auction of handicrafts, farm produce, and miscellaneous items will follow the meal at approximately 6:30 pm. Take-out orders for whole Boston Butts, minced pork barbecue, and Brunswick stew may be placed by calling (434) 676-6271 or (434) 676-6986 no later than noon Friday.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY, 11 a.m. at Ontario Christian Church, 175 Old Kings Road, Drakes Branch. Come have a bowl of stew for lunch and listen to some great music. Everyone is welcome.

PASTOR’S FIRST ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m., at St. Louis Baptist Church for the Rev. Henry L. Fleshman Jr. The Rev. Charles Woolfolk, pastor of White Oak Grove Baptist Church, Phenix, will be the guest minister for the hour along with the male chorus. Everyone welcome.

RZUA ANNUAL HARVEST FEST, 4 p.m. This will be held at the Bishop George H. Studivant Worship & Conference Center. The Rev. Phyllis Graves and ministers Silver Boyd and Minister Maxine Savage will deliver the message. Dinner will be served.

WOMEN’S DAY, 4 p.m. at Pleasant Oak Baptist Church. The theme of the service is The Phenomenal Woman. Dinner will follow the service. All are welcome.

DEACONESS MINISTRY 20th ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Rebecca Griffin, pastor of Oak Street AME Zion, Petersburg, will be the guest preacher along with her choir, ushers and church family. Everyone is welcome.

LUNENBURG NAACP MEETING, 7 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Building in Victoria. All members are urged to attend to cast your vote.

NOVEMBER 12

AUCTION SALE, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the covered Brush Arbor Pavilion at Lake Gaston Christian Life Centre in Ebony. Items up for auction include furniture, household articles, Christmas decorations and much more. Food and beverages will be available for sale. FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY, 11 a.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, 1784 Springfield Road, Meherrin. The Rev. Terrence Redd of Concord Fellowship Baptist Church of Richmond will deliver the sermon for the occasion. The Rev. Dr. Theodore Brown is pastor.

NOVEMBER 19 AND 20

HOLIDAY BAZAAR, The Annual Friends of the R. T. Arnold Library will hold the Holiday Bazaar on November 19 and 20 at the Dixie Warehouse on Rocky Branch Road in South Hill. Hours are Saturday 9- 5 and Sunday 10- 4. There will be lots of great vendors and crafters, food from The South Hill Rotary Club and more. Admission is $2 with children under 12 free. Interested vendors should call the library at (434) 447-8162 and leave your name, address and phone number and an application will be sent out in response.
