The Lunenburg Lightning varsity football team defeated Buckingham 13-7 Saturday to advance to the James River Southside Youth Football Association Super Bowl against Emporia at Park View High School in South Hill on Saturday at 1 p.m. Pictured at right are, from left, Tyler McGrath, Xavier Moore and Jamari Moore, holding the trophy after Saturday’s Southside Division Championship win.
