The Kenbridge-Victoria Lions Club recently started up its annual fruitcake fundraiser. Kirkland fruitcakes are available for sale at the Gallion and Elder Insurance office in Victoria and at Smith’s Pharmacy in Kenbridge for $20 each. All profits from the fruitcake sales will go to help people in need in the community.

The Lions Club provides low- or no-cost eyeglasses and hearing aids for people in need. They also do free eye testing of elementary school students in both Kenbridge and Victoria. Lions are the largest service organization in the world. Their motto is “We Serve” and do so on the local, national and international level.

“Help us continue to serve by buying a delicious holiday fruitcake today,” Lions Club members said.
