Lunenburg County Ministries is seeking the public’s help during the holiday months. This is a time of year when Lunenburg County Ministries gets more requests for assistance than any other time. So far this year, the Ministries has provided assistance to 604 people from all over Lunenburg County. The Ministries provides food and clothing to people in need. Lunenburg County Ministries is also the sponsor of the community meals program that offers monthly free meals through our local churches in the county.

So far for this year, the meals program has provided 1,196 meals. That is an average of about 119 meals each month. The next meal will be at Perseverance Christian Church on Dec. 20 from 5-7 pm. All are welcome at the meals.

Please consider donating food, warm clothing and shoes to Lunenburg County Ministries as these items are particularly needed at this time.
