Victoria Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a fire which got out of hand last Thursday. The incident took place on Hightower Road in Green Bay. According to Victoria Fire Chief Rodney Newton, the homeowner burning leaves caused the fire. The fire got out of control, spread and caused heavy damage, if not total loss, to a neighbor’s outbuilding, Newton said. The fire is still under investigation.
