The international Cum Laude Society, founded in 1906, recently inducted four Fuqua School students into its ranks. The new members — Robert Burns, Brad Davis, Sarah Jane French and Curtis Rogers — were inducted during Fuqua’s recent Upper School Academic Awards. Each inductee received a Cum Laude pin and certificate. They also signed the chapter membership book. These members of the Class of 2017 are the first four inductees for this academic year. Another four inductees will be inducted during a spring ceremony. The society recognizes the top 20 percent of each senior class based on grade point average and is dedicated to honoring scholastic achievement in secondary schools. Fuqua School is one of 16 schools in Virginia to have membership in the society. Pictured are, from left, Head of Upper School Alex Huggard, Robert Burns, Brad Davis and Curtis Rogers.
