Twenty-six Kenston Forest School (KFS) students and friends of the KFS Fellowship of Christian Athletes and KFS Interact joined together to help a family in need Sunday. They all partnered with the Lunenburg County Department of Social Services to help five young children, ages 2-9, who were recently reunited with their mother, have a nice Christmas. The students shopped for and wrapped gifts and delivered them and a Christmas tree to the family in South Hill. They were invited into the home and watched as each child opened one of the many gifts. They also helped decorate the Christmas tree with the family. Some of the students and friends who participated are, from left, Indigo Dougherty of South Hill, Rachel Moore of Kenbridge, Mary Katherine Coleburn of Blackstone, Josie Epperson of Kenbridge, Ally McComas of Crewe, Caroline Moore of Kenbridge, Macie Coley of South Hill, Hanna Mahaney of Kenbridge and KFS friend Miguel Ballesteros of South Hill.
