The sixth-seeded Kenston Forest School varsity boys basketball team fell 48-44 in the first round of the Virginia Colonial Conference tournament against host No. 3 Southampton Academy.

The Kavaliers finished the 2016-17 season with a 3-17 record but afforded young players key opportunities and look to grow significantly next year.
