Madeline’s House is hosting its second annual Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebee’s in Farmville.

The restaurant is located on South Main Street across from Walmart.

The event will take place March 18 from 8-10 am. Each breakfast is $10 and will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee.

Staff will sell Madeline’s House T-shirts and child abuse awareness pinwheels.

Proceeds from the event will be used for programming at Madeline’s House.

“It is the mission of Madeline’s House to provide services and resources to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; whether through emergency shelter, community clients, or public education,” according to a press release.

This year, Madeline’s House is focusing on expanding programs for children and under served populations within the community.
