A 36-year-old Kenbridge man is charged with felony malicious wounding in connection to a stabbing incident reported Friday night on Blackstone Road in Kenbridge.

According to Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office Maj. D.J. Penland, both suspect Shaun Reeves and the victim were injured during the reported incident.

Reeves “was transported by Kenbridge Emergency Squad to (the) Community Memorial Hospital Emergency Room for minor injuries and later arrested for felony malicious wounding,” Penland said.

“The second subject was transported by Victoria Emergency Squad to Blackstone Airfield where he was transported by MedFlight to MCV in Richmond where he is listed in stable condition.  The incident is still under investigation so we have no further to release at this time,” Penland said.
