Police continue to search for clues and a suspect in connection to a theft at Twigs & Berries in Kenbridge.

According to Kenbridge Police Chief Raymond Hite, the suspect pulled up to the garden center on Main Street between 11 p.m. and midnight on March 21.

Hite said the suspect stole five azalea plants outside on the property before fleeing the scene.

Hite said video footage showed one distinct individual, but the image was too grainy and it was too dark to determine “any descriptive features.”

He said authorities were unable to determine the type of vehicle driven by the suspect.

The suspect, once apprehended, Hite said, could be charged with theft.

Those who witnessed any suspicious activity or has any information should call (434) 676-2452 or (434) 696-4452.
