JULY 15

WOMEN’S WORKSHOP, 1 p.m. at Gill Hill Baptist Church, 1427 County Line Road, Keysville. Speaker for the morning will be First Lady Betty Hurg. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served.

JULY 16

ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, 2 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY, 11 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church, 542 Unity Road, Kenbridge. All are welcome for a day of fellowship, food and fun.

ANNUAL REVIVAL OPENING WORSHIP SERVICE, 3 p.m. at New Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Bobby Stone and the Jerusalem Baptist Church will render the service. A repast will be served.

FELLOWSHIP SERVICE, 3 p.m. at Good Shepherd Church in Halifax, 3036 Mountain Road. Guest speaker will be Pastor Isaiah Hurt. Everyone is welcome.

WOMEN’S DAY, 3 p.m. at Gill Hill Baptist Church, 1427 County Line Road, Keysville. Speaker will be the Rev. Roletta Banks and the Union Grove Gospel Ensemble Choir of South Boston will render the music. Everyone is welcome. Ladies, please wear white.

JULY 16-20

ANNUAL HOMECOMING AND REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at Little Mount Baptist Church. Homecoming will be held on Sunday, July 16 at 11 a.m. Pastor Wanda F. Wallace will bring forth the word. Revival services will begin on Tuesday, July 18-20 with a different Evangelist each night. JULY 17-19

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at Union Grove Baptist Church, 2006 County Line Road, Keysville. The speaker will be Pastor Charles Vaughan. Live music each night. All are invited.

JULY 17-21

ANNUAL REVIVAL SERVICES, 7:15 p.m. at New Grove Baptist Church with prayer and praise services each night. The Rev. Dr. Terry D. Streeter, pastor of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Washington, D.C. will be the guest preacher. Various choirs and ushers will serve.

CAMP FUN-TASTIC, at different locations across Lunenburg and surrounding counties for the week for ages 5-18. Cost will be $60 for the week and you will need to bring a packed lunch each day unless told different by 4-H agent. Campers will participate in a fun week of different activities such as swimming, games, putt putt, a visit to Kerr Lake and much more. Spots will limited to 10 campers being that organizers have a 12-passenger van. If you would like to sign-up, contact the Extension office ASAP.

JULY 18

MEETING OF THE SONS OF CONFEDERATE VETERANS, 6:30 p.m. at Sheldon’s Restaurant in Keysville. The meeting will start with a “Dutch Treat” meal followed by a short business meeting and a program. This month Compatriot John Butler, a member of the High Bridge Camp in Farmville, will speak on “Masons in the War Between the States.” The meeting is open to anyone who has an interest in the South and would like to hear an interesting program. JULY 23

JULY SERVICES, 11 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 2104 Jonesboro Road, Kenbridge. Come and worship. Speaker will be the Rev. Bernard P. Page, associate minister Fourth Mount Zion Baptist Church, Crewe. Sunday school is each Sunday at 10 a.m.

ANNUAL HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at New Grove Baptist Church with echoes from homecomers, visitors and friends. At noon, Pastor Bagley will conduct the morning worship service. Dinner will be served immediately following the morning service. All are welcome.

JULY 28

MEETING, 6 p.m. of the Lunenburg County Public Library System Board of Trustees at the Victoria Public Library. This meeting is open to the public.

JULY 30

A MESSAGE OF MUSIC, 11 a.m., at Union Grove Baptist Church, 2006 County Line Road, Keysville. Musical guests are The Crestmen. All are invited.
