Fire displaces family

A house fire Friday on Court Street in Victoria has left a family displaced. According to Rodney Newton, chief of Victoria Fire and Rescue the fire started with an unattended pan on the stove around 12:30 p.m. Victoria Volunteer Fire Department, Kenbridge Volunteer Fire Department, Dominion Energy and Red Cross all responded. All escaped the house without injury.
