My Family

When I woke up this morning I gave thanks to Jesus for giving me such a wonderful family. I believe in telling my family how important they are to me. They have been with me through it all, and I want to let them know how much they mean to me.

I give thanks to my niece and nephew, Cary and Shawnequa, who gave me a wonderful T-shirt letting me know that I can handle whatever comes my way. My other nephew and niece, Edward and Elsie, visited me at the hospital and brought me the most beautiful flowers as well as some great food when I got out. A bunch of family visited me at the hospital, too many to name.

My sister Daisy and brother Harry made sure my husband and I had some fantastic dinners to ensure no one in my house had to cook. When Daisy and Harry weren’t cooking, Beulah and my nephews, Man and Steve, took turns preparing meals for my husband and me.

My niece Nina gave me the most beautiful plant and my nephew Junie and his wife gave me a fruit basket.

My nieces Lynn, Mary, Paulette and Jenifer blessed me with the Word of God and gave me strength when I felt a little tired and Edmonia visited me and braided my hair.

I have received many calls, visits, gifts and prayers from family as well as friends that warmed my soul. I know that they have been praying because I am doing great with no pain. I love reading their cards and thank them so much for thinking of me. Words cannot express the outpouring of love I felt. I thank God each day for the people that touch my life daily.

I want to express my sincere thanks and gratitude. Through my family, I have been blessed.

Be Blessed in Jesus’ Name.
