An assembly of proud parents and guardians, faculty and fellow students at a Victoria Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) event enjoyed a program set up by kindergarten students. The program, called “A Day in the Life of a Kindergartner,” included a collection of songs and artwork. The artwork displayed was based on people and themes in honor of Black History Month. Parental Involvement Coordinator Meredith Spencer said the event “was a great program.” “Our kids rocked the house and even had the audience join in on the ‘Hip Hop Tootie Ta’ song,” Spencer said.
