Charlie Wilson was out to lend a hand Saturday morning helping with clean up. You might see Charlie around town anywhere picking up debris from roadways to help keep the streets free of trash.

Residents of the Town of Victoria and volunteers helped clear litter from the roadways in the town Saturday during its town-wide cleanup day.
From picking up old soda cans or bottles in nearby woods to clearing litter from vacant buildings, participants worked to keep the town free from litter as a way to observe spring clean up week in the Town of Victoria.
“I was very pleased that even though we only had a small group of citizens participate we were able to get trash and debris picked up from several areas of Victoria,” Victoria Town Manager Rodney Newton said in a statement. “Every little be helps to make Victoria a cleaner town.”
