Following a public hearing during the Kenbridge Town Council Tuesday, members of the council voted to pass its revised town code, with exception of its zoning section.

No members of the public spoke during the hearing, Town Manager Robyn Fowler said Thursday.

The town has been working with Municode, or Municipal Code Corporation, a company that works with cities and towns to digitize their codes or ordinances.

Fowler said all of the codes were approved Tuesday except for the zoning section, which she said members of the council will revisit at a later meeting.

“They want to revisit that section,” Fowler said.

Fowler encouraged members of the public to look out for the code, which will be available on the town website.

“The codes will be online soon on the Town’s website,” Fowler said. “Municode, the organization that the Town has been working with, is in charge of getting the codes online.”
