Results in for town elections

The results are in for the towns of Victoria and Kenbridge elections. Using data from the Virginia Department of Elections, see the numbers here:

 

VICTORIA  

 

100 percent of votes reported in two precincts:

 

Mayor

 

Carol Watson received 97.48 percent of the vote, or 116. Watson ran unopposed with only three votes as write-ins.

 

Town Council  

 

Johnnie W. Brame received 29.86 percent of the vote, with 103 votes.

 

Christopher T Garrett received 26.96 percent of the vote, with 93 votes.

 

J.G. “Greg” Elam Jr. received 25.22 percent of the vote, with 87 votes.

 

J.B. Crenshaw received 17.39 percent of the vote, with 60 votes.

 

There were two write-in votes.

 

KENBRIDGE

 

100 percent of the votes reported in two precincts.

 

Mayor  

 

Emory Hodges received 72.20 percent of the vote, with 174.

 

Anthony Sandy received 27.39 percent of the vote, with 66 votes.

 

Town Council

 

Raymond E. Hite Jr. received 14.10 percent of the vote with 166 votes.

 

D.G. “Danny” Thompson received 13.59 percent of the vote with 160 votes.

 

D.K. “Ken” Blackburn received 12.66 percent of the vote with 149 votes.

 

Cathy A Gilley received 12.32 percent of the vote with 145 votes.

 

Wanda Gordon Morrison received 11.55 percent of the vote with 136 votes.

 

Michael R. Bender received 10.71 percent of the vote with 126 votes.

 

Michael McGrath received 10.62 percent of the vote with 125 votes.

 

Paul E. Perusse received 8.92 percent of the vote with 105 votes.

 

Hafiz M. Ibrahim received 5.35 percent of the vote with 63 votes.

 

There were two write-in votes.
