Soldiers for Christ will sponsor a Memorial Candlelight Service/American Cancer Benefit Program Saturday, May 19, 3 p.m., at Peoples Community Center, Victoria. Reflections will be given in memory of Willie Watkins, Jr., Linda Watkins, Chradwick White, Louise and Ethel Felder, Mildred and Eric Lewis, Frank Winn, James Jones, James Logan, Alma Freeman, Elaine Burns, Elaine Jennings, Robinette Tinsley, Demond McKnight, Welton and Lillie Johnson, the Jackson Family and others. Deaconess Virginia Crowder of Unity Baptist Church will be the master of ceremonies. Appearing on the program will be Charles White – The Voices of Heaven, Elder Farrar and Company, Brother Carnell Lewis and the 30 Plus Praise Dancers. Everyone is welcome.
