JUNE 15
DEADLINE, to submit entry and sponsorship forms for the Fourth of July parade and jubilee.
JUNE 15-16
FIREFLY FESTIVAL, 9-11 p.m. at High Bridge Trail State Park. Parking fee applies. Closest access is the Camp Paradise parking area. Food trucks available. Educational lessons will be offered.
JUNE 16
RANGER CHALLENGE, 1-3:30 p.m. at Twin Lakes State Park. Youth 14 years old and younger with a parent or other adult. Teams will compete in the Backyard Bass Casting game, a canoeing challenge, a corn hole challenge and an obstacle course. The award ceremony will be at 4 p.m. Register at the sport of choice on the day of the event. Rain date June 17.
JUNE 17
HOMECOMING, 2 p.m. at Mayflower Baptist Church, Kenbridge. The Rev. Elizabeth Saunders and Blackwell Temple A.M.E. Zion Church will be in charge of the services.
JUNE 18-22
REVIVAL, 7:30 p.m. nightly at Mayflower Baptist Church, 3620 Sneads Store Road, Kenbridge. Guest speaker, the Rev. Trava Hawkins of Zion Hill Baptist, Victoria.

BOOK SIGNING EVENT, 5:30 p.m. at the Robert Russa Moton Museum with the Hon. Henry L. Marsh III.

200TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AT BRICKLAND, Sponsored by the Historical Society. 1-5 p.m. at 6877 Brickland Road, Kenbridge. Dawn Conrad in the garden at 2 p.m. and Adam Erby on Brickland’s architecture at 3 p.m. Limited number of advance ticket holders beginning at 5 p.m., including dinner on the grounds featuring locally grown and sourced food items. A TASTE-OF-STATES, 3 p.m. sponsored by members of Mayflower Baptist Church at the Peoples Community Center, Victoria. An afternoon full of fellowship, fun and food sampling.
