Two proposed projects, an event venue and bull breeding and training facility, will receive hearings during the Lunenburg County Board of Supervisors meeting Thursday at 6 p.m.

Both projects were approved for recommendation by the Lunenburg County Planning Commission during its May 15 meeting.

The first project is for a personal services facility on property owned by Precision Pipes, LLC, which works with utility and sewer lines.

The property, located at 11944 Courthouse Road, is being requested by George Whittaker, the property lessee, to be used for a facility for small-scale rental for fewer than 100 guests for events.

The property is approximately 5 acres and had been the site of a former church, the public notice of the meeting cited.

The second project is for a bull breeding and training facility for cattle “used for rodeo-style bucking-bull riding classes held by appointment only,” the public notice cited.

Cynthia Cappabianca with Let R Buck, LLC, owns the 45-acre property at 521 Mountain Road in Victoria where the proposed program will be located.
