Families and friends, and those young and young at heart reclined on lawn chairs, played in the grass or danced underneath the pavilion during the Town of Victoria’s inaugural Music in the Park event, held at Victoria Railroad Park Friday. Live music was led by members of Mike Godwin and the Off-duty Band, who serenaded and energized the audience through voice, guitar and keyboard. The next Music at the Park event, set to feature the band Uncorked, is scheduled for July 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. See additional photos on page 2 and online at www.KVDispatch.com.
