The William Taylor Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution held its last meeting prior to its summer recess at Watersview Restaurant, Littleton, North Carolina, on Lake Gaston. Merny Erby (left), chapter president of Victoria, and Lori Dobson (right), chapter hostess of Henrico, North Carolina, are shown thanking Christina Wells (center) of Halifax North Carolina, President and CEO of the Lake Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce, for her interesting talk on lake life and the history of the five counties that make up the lake area. The group enjoyed a lunch with a main lake view and will resume their meetings in the fall.
