Changes in administration at LCPS

Lunenburg County Public Schools announced changes for the upcoming school year in a press release. According to the release, “there are a few new people that have been brought on board and a few existing staff members who have taken on new roles. These changes will make our school system even better.” The release cited, “in the school board office: Lyle Currin, Supervisor of Transportation and Support Services; Lucy Hall, Director of Data and Analysis/School Information System Coordinator; Dawn Bacon, Director of Curriculum and Instruction; Elizabeth Tingen, Director of Special Education and Shakeyau Jackson, Truancy Officer. Central High School: Dr. Sharon Stanislas, Principal and Jamyce Watson, Administrative Coordinator/CTE Teacher. Lunenburg Middle School: Mary Ann Crowder, Principal and Stacey Newton, Assistant Principal. Victoria Elementary School: Julie Dalton, Principal.
