Marvin Pernell Mosley

Marvin Pernell Mosley was born to Ronald C. and Mary Ann Thornton Mosley on July 7, 1965. At an early age Marvin was baptized and joined Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church in Chase City, Virginia.

Marvin attended Lunenburg County Public Schools and graduated from Central Senior High in 1983. Marvin was employed at several factories throughout Victoria and Kenbridge, Virginia. He was best known for doing yard work in the community.

Marvin departed this life on Thursday August 9, 2018 at VCU Community Memorial Hospital South Hill, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his parents Ronald C. Sr. and Mary A. Mosley, and brother, Ronald C. Mosley, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory: his devoted sister, Tanga “Peaches” Cleaton of Brodnax, Virginia, a devoted niece, Chelicy Mosley of Petersburg, Virginia, a nephew, Ryan Wingfield, two devoted aunts, Linda Mosley Gordon, of Occoquan, Virginia, and Jean Winn of South Hill, Virginia, a host of other family and friends. Graveside services were held August 17 at noon at Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, Virginia with the Rev. Yvonne W. Bridgeforth providing words of comfort.
