Southside Virginia Community College’s Keysville campus at 200 Daniel Road is set to have the WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) available at its office beginning September through December.

The test is also available by appointment.

The NCRC, an assessment made by the organization that creates the ACT standardized tests, tests students’ knowledge on the skills needed to excel in the workforce. This includes testing on soft skills such as punctuality and decorum in a professional setting. The three subjects covered on the test include Applied Math, Workplace Documents and Graphic Literacy.

Testing dates will be Thursday, Sept. 13; Thursday, Oct. 11; Thursday, Nov. 8 and Thursday, Dec. 13 from 1-4 p.m.
