HOMECOMING 2 p.m. at Mayflower Baptist Church with the Rev. Patricia Barnette. The congregation of the Tussekiah Baptist Church of Victoria will conduct the service. Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.

REVIVAL, 8 p.m. at Mayflower Baptist Church. The Rev. Edward Fox, Pastor of the Springfield Baptist Church, Colonial Heights will be the speaker for the week. Prayer and praise service will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be a different choir each night.

LUNENBURG COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY, 2 p.m., Victoria Public Library. Barrow Wheary will discuss and demonstrate stringed music originating in Southside Virginia in the early 1800s.

JUNE 24-26

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 6351 South Hill Road, Kenbridge. The theme for this year is “On Safari: Managing What Belongs to God,” Psalm 24:1. The lessons will focus on stewardship. Classes will be held for ages preschool through adult.

JUNE 30

MUSICAL SERVICE, 11 a.m. Union Grove Baptist Church, 2006 County Line Road, Keysville. Lunch will be served at noon. Musical guests are The Churchmen from North Carolina. All are welcome.

JULY 2

ORDINATION SERVICE, 3 p.m. at Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church located at 3606 Kenbridge Road, Blackstone, will ordain the Reverends Gerard Wilson and Carolyn Jones into the Gospel Ministry. The Ordination Council will convene at 2:30 p.m. (all licensed and ordained ministers are welcomed in the Council). The Rev. Eva B. Hurt and the High Bridge Baptist Church of Rice will be the guest church in charge.

SECOND ANNUAL JULY JUBILEE, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Town of Kenbridge.
