Former Victoria resident Ralph Lee Corning Jr. competed in the 2021 Virginia Commonwealth Track and Field Games on Dec. 5 at Liberty University in Lynchburg. He won first place in the shot put competition for his age class of ages 55 and older. He grew up in Victoria and graduated from Central High school in 1982. He now resides in Disputanta.
