Lunenburg County Public Schools recognized two outgoing school board members during its board meeting on Monday, Dec. 13. Beverley Hawthorne and Barry Carnes were honored for 60 plus years of combined service on the Lunenburg County School Board. Carnes has served as chairman for a majority of the years he was on the board.
