On Tuesday, April 5, Laura Sanford turned 102 years old. She has been a resident of Kenbridge all of her life. She is the mother of two daughters, Jacqueline Haskins and Wanda Hill (Sidney). Sanford is the grandmother to her “goldboxes.” She retired from Lunenburg County Public Schools and has been a lifetime member of St. Matthew’s Baptist Church in Kenbridge.
