The Buckingham Knights junior varsity volleyball team won in two sets, 25-22 and 25-10, over Lunenburg last week.

The first game was very close, as the Knights and Chargers battled back and forth throughout the contest before Buckingham pulled away late for the victory.

In  the second game, Buckingham had a strong overall serving game and was led by Hannah Shaw.

They used the first-game momentum to pull away early and cruise to a 25-10 win to claim the overall victory.

The Buckingham team suffered a loss to Bluestone following the win over Central.

They split the first two games, losing the first one 25-17 and winning the next one 25-18.

The third game saw Bluestone getting ahead early and taking a 15-9 win.
