Good News Club to begin

A new hour-long group called the Good News Club will begin on Monday.
The club is for males and females ages 5-12, regardless of religious background.
The once-a-week club meeting will consist of a dynamic Bible lessons, learning activities, missionary stories, singing, and scripture reading.
Sponsored by the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Richmond, the club will begin as soon as school lets out and will last until 5 p.m. The group meeting will take place every Monday at the Kenbridge Elementary School cafeteria.
The town of Victoria will also have a Good News Club. That group will meet every Thursday beginning Oct. 8 at the Victoria Elementary School cafeteria.
The club will be hosted and conducted by Joyce Harmon, John Hite and Charles Welborn.
Teachings in the club will be led by specially-trained Christians who are concerned for the spiritual well-being of children in the area.
All club workers are screened as required by CEF’s child protection policy to ensure child safety.
All participants must be picked up immediately after the club meeting ends.

All are welcome to join the club. Registrations forms can be turned in at the Good News Club Box located at both schools that the meetings will be held at come October.
