Master Food Volunteer class being offered

The Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Food Volunteer program provides a foundation of knowledge and training in food safety, food science, food preparation and nutrition.

The program also consists of a 30-hour training being taught in four days. The training will be held at the Southern Piedmont AREC in Blackstone on Oct.30, Nov. 6, 13 and 20 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

If you live in Amelia, Charlotte, Dinwiddie, Lunenburg or Prince Edward; contact your local Extension Office for additional details. Applications are due by Oct. 22.
