Southside Virginia Community College wants to help make first year experiences the best possible. One way to prepare for academic success is to begin with the right tools, starting on day one. NSO 2.0 (New Student Orientation) is a fun, half-day event that will jumpstart an academic career and ensure a successful transition to SVCC. This free event is open to all incoming Spring 2016 students.

The first orientation will be held at the Christanna Campus in Alberta on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The second orientation will be held at the  John H. Daniel Campus in Keysville on Thursday, Jan. 7. Registration will be held at 9:30 a.m.
