Kenbridge Town Council revised its business license fee — exempting the first $30 of revenue from the fee calculation but adding a $30 processing fee.

The council passed the change during its Tuesday, Jan. 19, meeting.

“I don’t think you end up with a lot of revenue, but you should look at it,” Town Attorney Calvin Spencer told the board.

The business license fee is based on gross receipts and the type of business.
