Lunenburg County Public Schools and Central High School wish to thank Virginia Marble Manufacturers for donating $1,000 towards the new robotics team, the “Portable Chargers.” The team will compete in two district first Robotics competitions in March. The group was able to get started with funds donated by Mid Atlantic Broadband. The firm will also match funds as well. The team also wishes to thank Kenbridge Construction, ACE Hardware — Kenbridge Supply and Bailey Stews for their donations of funds and supplies to help the team. The team has started building and programming its robot to overcome the obstacles that are set forth in the competitions.
