Winter Storm Olympia hit Lunenburg County on Sunday and continued through Tuesday. Three inches of snow accumulated across most of the county, which was followed by sleet and freezing rain. Because of the inclement weather, Lunenburg Public County Schools were closed Monday and Tuesday.
