Hope Alexander received the VCU Health CMH STAR Service Team Member of the Month Award for January.

Alexander has been employed at VCU Health CMH for six years. “Her dedication and excellent patient care are just two of the qualities that make her a wonderful asset to VCU Health CMH,” stated a release from the facility.

The nomination form submitted on Alexander’s behalf stated, “Hope went above and beyond expectations. She has empathy and respect for her patients and their families. She has given my mother and grandmother the best care I have seen in a long time. You can tell she actually cares and is dedicated to her job and the people under her care. I cannot express enough good words to explain this wonderful nurse.”

In addition to the award certificate, Alexander received a STAR Service lapel pin, letter of commendation from administration, a $40 gift certificate and a parking place of her choice for the month.
