New Mt. Sinai Church, located at 887 Tanner Town Road in Brodnax, will hold an 18th anniversary celebration for Brother Arlton Parnell Walker on Sunday, May 1, at 3 p.m. Walker has served for over 38 years in the church’s music ministry. Celebrating with the honoree will be his AP Walker Mass Choir, with Minister Vincent Morton as the director. Also appearing at the event will be Cabre Walker, Takera Walker, Destiney Walker, Sister Fannie Moore, The LOJ Singers, The Bowman Singers, The Mighty Southerneers, The Jones Mockingbirds and The OEB Restoration Choir.
