On Sunday, at 3 p.m., there will be a dedication of a stone in memory of Betty Jean Saunders Goad at the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery. Betty, daughter of Clyde Raymond and Ruth Garner Gee Saunders, was a member of the Kenbridge High School graduating class of 1957 and lived in the Dundas area. She also was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church in Alberta. She died in Greensboro, N.C., on March 2, 2014 and her body was donated to Duke University for research. All who knew her are invited to attend.
