Rites held for Edna Wray Humphrey Johnson

Edna Wray Humphrey Johnson, 90, of Mechanicsville, VA, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016. She was the widow of Alvin Humphrey and Dexter Johnson. Edna was a longtime member of Hope Community Church of The Nazarene, a retired employee of Reynolds Metals, Inc. with over 30 years, and was a committed volunteer for ober 15 years a Bon Secours-Regional Memorial Hospital in Mechanicsville. She is survived by a sister, Barbara Jarratt of Victoria; brother-in-law, William “Bill” Lickey of Blackstone; sister-in-law, Rose C. Wray of Victoria; and many nieces and nephews. Chapel funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus. Hwy. 460), near Blackstone with burial to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, VA. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
