Retired Air Force Col. Greg Eanes, resident of Crewe, will be the guest speaker at Crewe Public Library on Friday from 7-8 p.m.

Eanes has written a number of well-received books on the American Civil War.

He will talk in depth about the books and his experiences as an author.

This is an opportunity to speak with an experienced Civil War author, and copies of his books will be available.

The cabinet in the Crewe Library has on exhibit during May copies of Eanes’ books.
